Welcome to My Athletic Edge Magazine.com. Our goal at My Athletic Edge Magazine is to supply you a useful athletic magazine with a scientific backbone. We were frustrated with all the health and sports related magazines that show surgically enhanced models and state that you can look that way in six weeks or be performing at a higher level of sport with 5-10 quick workouts. So many of these workouts aren’t even backed with facts or scientific data, they are just ideas someone thought were good and they printed them. Many of the sports related magazines today are more focused on athletes misbehaving (i.e. – Terrell Owens or Ron Artest) than giving useful information to help you succeed in your sport(s). In our publication you will find useful, fact based, information for athletes, parents, coaches and trainers, no matter what sport or skill level.

We will strive to give you the very best scientifically based information so that you have a guide to sports performance. We have compiled an impressive list of our peers together as contributing writers and also to form our advisory board. Included among this list are medical professionals, amateur and professional athletes, strength and conditioning professionals, certified athletic trainers, educational professionals, parents and coaches. With this extensive knowledge base every athlete, parent, coach and trainer should gain more knowledge from our magazine.

The types of articles you can expect to see will include research articles, human-interest articles, personal experiences from athletes, parents and coaches, nutrition, equipment reviews, injury prevention and rehabilitation, training techniques, and much more. We will not emphasize poor sportsmanship or quick fixes, but rather highlight what is right in sports today and how to train, coach or perform better in your sports.
